Cosmo is a contemporary British artist, who has spent the last 30 years working across Film, TV, Graphic design and digital media. As well as London, he has lived and worked extensively in Edinburgh, London, Paris and New York, the latter which, after living on Avenue B in Manhattan's Lower East side with his family, formed one of the core inspirations to his first solo exhibitions in both London and Victoria, Gozo. Charcoal seemed the most appropriate medium to capture this wonderful array of contrasts. The black on white and the soft and hard texture of the charcoal, create a vivid effect of contrasts, shapes and tones, portraying our continual attempt to find our natural sense of place amongst ever changing horizons.
